Oh no! not another bricked iphone
Less then a week aftr i got my iphone 5 days to be exact. i was browsing the web when suddenly my iphone crashes and im stuck on the screen with the apple logo.
after connecting to my itunes 7.4 on my vista machine i tried to restor but to no luck so far i have had error 6, 9, 1603 and 2003 coming after trying various methods i have tried restoring both 1.0 and 1.02 to no avail.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
it is not stuck in restore mode lol
Just an update it now starts restoreing the iphone but seems to be getting stuck at about 25%
Would really appreciate some help with this thanks in advance
tried it on a mac now as well any one got any ideas pls?
im hoping i dont have to send this back to america from india otherwise that will be a problem fingers crossed
Try this...if you want to have your iPhone Back to Factory Virgin default...
Turn off iPhone...completely off
turn on iTunes open on the Desktop
Hold down Home button and then plug in USB cable
still holding down home button to force Factory restore
now that the restore is up on the iTunes window click restore
and your iphone will go completely back to factory Virgin default.
NOTE: you will lose all the information that was on the iPhone..ie: contact list etc...
But unfortunatly this doesnt work it does the same thing giving error code 6 about 25% in.
is there a way to do it using iphoneinterface in recovery mode.
UPDATE: its now stuck on waiting for iphone after i installed itunes 7.3 on a nother xp machine that had now itunes on it before its ben like this for 25 - 30 mins any ideas?
ok tried it again now it seems to get stuck at 25% as mentioned before but the text changes to Verifying Iphone Software??
any ideas guys.
Thanks in advance
