oh no =( i think i bricked my iphone for sure...
ok so i installed hwpen and then decided that i didn't need it anymore so then i uninstalled it. my phone restarted and then the apple logo shows up and nothing more.
i decided to do a restore and now its stuck on the restore mode screen and every time i try to restore, itunes gives me an error (1) and error (1604). HELP =((
i had 1.1.3
leopard. macbook pro.
i've tried everything else... now im at the mercy of hackint0sh and their support group!!
I hate that damn program. My GF's iPhone did the same thing after uninstall hwpen, it appears that everybody has the same problem. There is a fix though if you had SSH enabled, because you can SSH in while the Apple logo is up and issue a couple of commands which fixes it up (found here on hackint0sh, can't remember which thread off the top of my head).
Although now that you've restored, I presume that SSH isn't installed so that side of it can't be done. Maybe try something like iBrickr or whatever it's called to force the phone out of restore mode and try it all again?

As for your problem, you should have searched before restoring.
Your problem could have been solved without restoring.
(com.apple.SpringBoard.plist to edit or replace by its original).
By the way, it is too late now, Turn your phone into DFU mode and restore it.
