Default O2 UK store policy change ? Insurance?

    Hi,

Has the UK o2 store policy changed, as when buying 2 handsets on the weekend they now take details (so they say for insurance even if you dont buy it) saying the policy had changed since xmas. Is this like carphone warehouse who will now only sell u 2 and then no more?

Not sure about this, but I do know that Apple lifted the 2 iphone limit a few weeks back, and allowed up to 5 iphones to be purchased in one visit.

Now if indeed the policy of 2 per visit is re-implemented it may be a sign that stocks are running low (characteristic of Apple products approaching an announcment) and an upgraded is indeed on the cards for macworld (16 GB Maybe). But why would apple not offer a 8 and 16 GB model?

Is that in UK Apple stores? Do they limit it to 5 on the system or just 5 each visit?

If so i suppose we can just keep going back and ordering 5?

Only back at the old internet interface, so just responding.

From what I remember it was world wide, and I think I heard of people purchasing four+ in Apple on Regent street.

Maybe it has been re-implemented or O2 never got the memo!
