    Default o2 network update

    Hi All,
I have an unlocked jailbroken iPhone, currently using a contract o2 sim (not an iPhone contract) and I am getting network update sms messages from o2. On other phones when you get these it usually has a function, like save settings or something. But on the iPhone it doesn't. Is there any ways of applying whatever updats o2 are trying to send me? do I even need to? What on earth is it for??

    Thanks All.
    Simon

It is an updated carrier bundle. Providers usually use this to introduce new services (like new mms-setting) or restrict others (like tethering).
