Numbers not matching with incoming calls.
When someone calls me from a landline, it is displayed as 55 5XXX XXXX.
I have it stored as 5XXX XXXX, because that is the way I have to dial it.
So when I get a call from landline it is not recognized nor matched with a contact.
Just because it is displayed as 55 51231234 and I have it stored as 51231234
Anyone sorted this issue?
Even the most crappy cell verifies the last 6 digits of a number...

Yeh, It's crappy isn't it. On my last phone I stored a lot of my contacts with the country prefix and now whenever one those contacts calls I get no caller ID as it think it's a brand new number. Only workaround that I can see is to have 2 numbers for each contact - 1 with country prefix and 1 without. Another obscenely ridiculous oversight from Apple. I love the iPhone for the non-phone related features. Phone features suck! Anyone worked out how to address a text to more than one person ?? It's defo a love h8 relationship with the iPhone. Was really peeved to see Apple drop the price to $399 whe I payed top dollar. Guess, that means a 16GB model will be out soon, to match the iPod Touch top spec model.
