Question Number Format

I got a trouble with mexican numbers:

This is as the Caller ID works for mobiles in Mexico.

Receving calls:

From landline: 55 (XXXX XXXX)
From mobile: 55 (XXXX XXXX)
Long distance: XX (XXXX XXXX)
International: Blocked

Making calls from mobile:

To landline: XXXX XXXX (Direct)
To mobile: 55 (XXXX XXXX)
Long Distance: XXX (XXXX XXXX)
International: 00X (XXX) (XXXX XXXX)

However when I receive a call, I get it like:

> (55X) XXX XXXX

It has to be recongnized like:

> (55) XXXX XXXX

Or even as:

landline: XXXX XXXX
mobile: (55) XXXX XXXX

Any ideas to configure this, I know it too weird, but,
that is the way it works and I cannot get my contacts recongnized
when they call me.

Try editing te <us> session of ABPhoneFormats.plist to the format you want.
You will find it /System/Library/Frameworks/AddressBookUI.Framework

I have a question, I will use funtastic to download the file, does it affect the HW unlock or restoration process if needed?

Well, there was a custom config for México, but i think that it was not working, however, i configured it to be like XXXXXXXXXX, and guess what?
It works, my iPhone has no fancy number formatting, but caller ID does right.
I will post the custom setup for México when I have it ready, or if someone already did it, please share it.

I tried to open the file with "text edit" and it was not easy to edit... what is the way to read it?

if i wanted to add the format for Saudi Arabia:
International mobile: +966 5# ###-####
International: +966 # ###-####
local mobile: 05# ###-####
local 0# ###-####

how can i fix this?

i have all my numbers saved in the international format "+(country code) number" and my phone can't recognize the names of the people and show me the number in the local format...

by the local format, i mean: (05#) ###-#### OR (0##) ###-###

and this is not readable in the caller ID...

can someone help, or just do the adjustment and email me the file at ahmedm (gmail)?
