    Talking

Someone said that Steve Jobs would announce a software unlock himself, that is more believable.

I bet that if any software unlock exists, it will be released before IPSF probably in few hours. If not every one is a scammer.

I think IPSF will release the unlock tomorrow. They want to wait until the next update (1.0.3) for the iPhone is due - which should be tomorrow. That will either confirm or deny if their unlock will work on the next firmware.
They don't want to sell an unlock that will be gone just after the next iPhone update....

I have my iPhone ready to be SIM-unlocked an am eagerly waiting for the deal but since I have bought call options for $10'000 on Apple stocks in May 2007 I wouldn't mind if AT&T could still continue to deliver their 10% fee to Apple ;-)

Actually, if you read their website or the emails that IPSF has sent out, they don't guarantee that the unlock will work with any future firmware upgrades...this means that it would be in their best interest to release it before the new firmware comes out...I don't think they really care if the unlock doesn't work after a few days, as long as they have the $$....
