Default Not even into 48hrs of owning my iPhone, the screen is dead.

As the thread states, my screen doesn't appear to be functional at all. Not to answer calls, texts, unlock, or power off. Tried soft resetting, and restoring it twice..to no avail. Not to be confused, visually, everything is working fine, shows my wallpaper and such, and the animation to unlock the phone, but it won't let me use the slider at all.

I did unlock it using carlosvaldosta's method, and it worked perfect till this afternoon. Just decided to hop on Safari real quick, and found that it wouldn't unlock, ie get to the home screen, nor would it power off...any ideas?

This happened to me too. I tried whatever you did and gave up. I let the battery drain and then tried it after putting it on charge. To my surprise it started working. All the best getting your phone working. It happened to me the day I got my phone.

I can't slide at all. Sleep/wake, home, and mute work just fine, but I cant slide to unlock, or slide to power off.

Yeah..tried googling, nothing came up besides restore. I'm just assuming its hardware failure, theres no way ibrickr or any of those programs caused this. Only 5 hours and 22 minutes till the local Apple store opens.. Should I tell them I had it working..but it was unlocked, or just say it came out of the box like this? idk how Apple would respond to someone sim unlocking their hardware.
