Nor being able to restore anymore.
I've reach a point that I don't know what else to do. I'm pretty knowledgeable on how to downgrade, upgrade, activate, unlock and etc... but I very welcome any suggestion on what is going on with my iphone.
I've tried using Independence 1.2.4, iBrick, Funtastic (all on Mac, PC and Mac running parallel). I put the phone on recovery mode and DFU mode, but always when iTunes says "Preparing iphone ..." it seems that the iphone disconnects from the computer and ends up with error 1604 or 1603 (tried iTunes 7.4 and 7.3).
Just before shows up "Preparing iPhone ..." the iphone screen shows the Apple Logo, but doesn't show the spiral wheel on the bottom.
Any suggestion will be gladly appreciated.
Iphone running stock 1.1.1 with Anysim
Are you on PC or Mac
It seems pc users are getting error 1603/4 a lot, seems there is a problem with Apple Mobile Service.
If using PC, I would suggest uninstalling Itunes, restart computer, reinstall itunes.
Also some people mention that your USB might not be very good. So if above fails, try another machine.
Error 1603/4 is communication problems (as far as I have worked out), so thats why USB (Not powered ? ) or dodgy itunes install.
I been having this problem all day, the solution was to use a apple mac - which seems to handle things better, although it still seems this Apple Mobile Service is possibly faulty all round.
Thanks for the reply,
I've already tried everything, Mac, Mac running Parallel, PC (WIN XP and Vista). Already install version 7.3 and 7.4 both for win and Mac, tried all different USB ports, different cables. This happen only with this particular iphone, already unlock other iphone with the same configurations without any problem.
Also I already unistall and reinstall Apple Mobile Service. No luck at all!!!
