1. Get your iphone and call this number 1 800 335 4685
2. Enter your ten digit phone number for example 702 381 0000
3. Press 3
4. After u press 3 you will be connected to a representative
below is a script that you can say
Representative: hello my name is ____ may i ask for your first name and last name please?

Alternately, you can disable EDGE access on your iPhone by editing one of the preference plists. Search for "disable edge" in the forum here for more complete instructions on how to do this. This way you can re-enable it at any time without having to call AT&T or your provider again.
