error 1003 is perfectly normal. use ibrickr to boot the phone. you need to virginize again. Don't update to 1.1.1. Use Restore instead.

why did you downgrade to 1.0.2? There was really no reason to do that. You should have stayed at 1.1.1

Because their iPhone was accidentally updated to 1.1.1, so the baseband got screwed as it was unlocked on 1.0.2? What's with the excessive idiocy on this forum.

Downgrade the baseband, and then virginize.

Please use the search function, there are better tutorials out there, then many of us can explain.
