i have modified the file SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist...

Still nothing in the "receiver" of the iPhone...

it's not a ringtones or apps problem, i have restored my iphone, just activate, nothing more...

This happened to me when I first restored as well.

Try putting in the earphones listening to something, and then taking them out.

After a little while after this, my iphone kicked into life. I do not really know why. Sorry

Default Recessed headphone jack source of lost of sound

It seems that the source of the problem is the recessed headphone jack itself. Try putting in and taking out the headphone jack a couple of times, sound should be restored. Hope this helps. It has nothing to do with any software hack, at least for me.

I just completed the Geohot hack. I thought everything was cool until now. Incoming calls have no sound from the ear-piece. The speaker phone works great, the headphones work great. I did restore after applying the hack. I will try it again when I get home.
