Long story short: he finds my "stash" takes me to jail based off a warrant I had for a prior speeding ticket, books me and an hour later the judge is kicking me out of his courtroom with my speeding ticket paid off with "time served" and the charges of "possesion" and "turning on red" getting thrown out based on the fact that he had no probable cause to pull me over much less search me (you can turn right on red provided there is no sign prohibiting it.)..
Anywho... Point is they can only screw you if you let 'em.. Besides... WTF could you have on your phone to be scared of? *!retorical question!* (I don't even want to know)

Cop has right to search your phone IF the phone is not password protected and you don't give them the password. You have the right to remain silent.

huh?
If the phone isn't password protected and you don't give them the password(which doesn't exist because, well, its not password protected) THEN they have a right to search your phone? What tha....
They still need "probable cause" to search ANYTHING. Cops can't do anything just because they "feel" like it.

It's OK man. Others don't know how we have it here in TX. We don't take it up the ass from police like the rest of the world.
