New logic board - now, questions
Well I've been searching around for the better part of a day, but I can't find any info that specifically deals with my issue.
Background:
Phone (4gb) was originally activated/unlocked using iNdependence, cyberduck, lockdownd, etc. Worked beautifully with T-Mobile. Then........I dropped my phone into some water. Sent it into iResQ, and they replaced the logic board. My IMEI number no longer matches the one on the box. I can activate and jailbreak it via iNdependence, and my firmware is 1.0.2, modem is 03.14.08_G. However, I hadn't unlocked it, and that's where the problem starts.
Running AppTapp results in the bootstrap error. I've tried three different versions of iTunes: 7.4, 7.4.1, and 7.4.2. All three versions give me the error. I can restore in iTunes every time with the 1.0.2 firmware file.
My question is this: since I don't know the exact background of this new logic board, what are my options? Upgrade to 1.1.1? Revirginize? Find something better to do on a Saturday night?
On the plus side, my phone now says it has 8gb of capacity, which would be sweet if it's legit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Nate

Well I think I figured out what was causing my problems with AppTapp. The other day I foolishly downloaded iTunes 7.5. I reinstalled the earlier versions, but something must have changed that wrecked AppTapp. I tried installing AppTapp on my parent's Mini, which still have 7.4.2, and it worked perfectly. So now I'm set up like I should be.
I still have to read up on 1.1.1 though, and the best way to get that installed.
