Well, I think Apple won't release the iPhone 2 very soon anyway.. until the 18months contract of the present iphone owners is gone..
If they'll bring it out sooner, there will be not so many buyers, so, in about 1year the pre-paid customers will buy new iphones cheaper, or even less for our used ones, but the contract people will play with the second generation iphone...

What about jailbreaking? Any one already try that? I'm getting one tomorrow in NY apple store.
I think it will come with 1.1.3 OOB and for some time I don't bother to much of using it like an Itouch. I have faith that we will have a any activation process until the end of this month.
Let's wait and see.

Sidenote: I'm really interested in one of these new phones (I'm on AT&T currently). If anyone has jailbroken/activated these new phones I'd love to hear how it went.

So egiman claims it comes with 1.1.2 and smickers say 1.1.3... More madness to the scene?!?!
Is 4.6_M3S2 the same bootloader 8Gb 1.1.3 OTB have?
