Just bought a new router (DG834N) and having issues connecting @ full speed wireless. On the router the setting up to 270Mbps doesn't connect even if i don't use WPA encryption. But if i use the up to 170Mbps it connects straight away. Anyone else know of this issue as surely if its up to 270 surely the iPhone should still connect just not run as fast?

I know it wont make any difference to the speed on the phones connection but its the other devices that i need to connect at full speed and the router can only have one setting.

Any ideas?

Unless you are transfering massive files around your home network , you dont need to set your network to run at that speed.

And the iPhone is only rated as connecting at g/b .

Wow. I wish I had a 270 Mbps connection at home... Probably costs over $1000 a month though.

Molopo so do i!! Ha Adyh is right i only use it for huge files about the house and a couple mates next door use it too... I seem to have to working now. Needed a reboot of the router then turning off and on my wifi and reconnectiong did the trick.

Dude, 270mps and your complaining? Hell I would be happy as a pig in poo with 30mbps. Im only at 10 rite now but its still hella fast with no lag for CSS!
