Default Need Help With My Passcode Please

    Hey guys..

Hope you can help me with this one. Here is what happened. Since firmware 2.0 is a bitch, i wanted to update to fw 2.0.1. I usually do backups before updating so did i this morning. With everything backed-up i gave my custom fw a chance and it worked without any problems. so far so good.
After finishing the upgrade i wanted to restore my iphone with the recent backup i just made, but what is going on? itunes only shows me backups from half a year ago. a little frustrated i restored it with the old backup, knowing lots of phone numbers, notes and other content will be missing.
Then it's even getting worse... i have a passcode on the phone i just can't remember, since i change it a lot. i gave it some tries.. got into the phone with a little workaround so i'll be avoiding the waiting time. Nothing helped.. i just forgot it.
Anyways.. i think at this point i have to make clear that this is my iphone.. i didn't steal or found it somewhere! Knowing that many people will think something else i am asking for help regarding recovering my contacts not hacking the passcode or whatever possibilities there are.
So if anyone knows how to get the contacts out of my backup from itunes or iphone pc suite or maybe has information on why itunes did delete or doesn't show the latest buck-ups i would be very thankful.

Keep up the brilliant work. I enjoy this forum a lot and usually find all solutions by myself.. this time i'm kinda lost. Thank you guys in advantage.

    I wanna thumbs on this:

You need your phone jailbroked. If it is not yet, go jailbreak it

Browse to http://www.digigna.net/diskaid/ and grab yourself a copy of DiskAid.

Connect your phone to your computer.

    Install DiskAid and open it.

All the way bottom there's a combo box "Media Folder". Click on it and select "Root Folder". Click OK on the pop-up. Browse to private -> var -> keychains, select keychain-2.db and remove it -- yeah, delete.

You will lose all your stored passwords: Mail, web sites, apps passwords -- your unknown passcode. To recover mail passwords you need either to sync your phone using iTunes, or to type them by hand on Mail settings. All other applications passwords you will need to re-enter them manually.
