hi i installed mingw, msys , gdb, and quicktime sdk 7.1. i have never used this before so could some1 explain how to compile using this. when i installed mingw it left a bunch of .tar files in the folder i ran it from. am i supposed to extract those files too. also when i run msys i can`t figure out how to run the Makefile.win. thanx in advance

i cd into the folder where the makefile is the typed make -f Makefile.win and it gives me errors. i can`t copy the errors to post.
