Need help, 1.1.1OTB broken (NOT A 1.1.3 UPGRADE THREAD)

Hey everyone!
I been running my 1.1.1OTB iPhone with 1.1.2 forever now it seems, and I wanted to install mobilechat. Since it didnt work with installer (it crashed) I tried by SSHing it on my phone manually, it still didnt instal it, so I thought i'd just give up and delete the Chat folder created by Mobilechat (done this before). Now all hell broke lose, everything started giving errors. I rebooted my iPhone to try and see if that would help, then all my settings is gone, I cannot save any changes, it auto locks and all.

If I use the cable my computer doesn't notice I plugged it in, I do not know how to restore since I cannot use the wifi (I put my WEP key in then it sais im connected but nothing happens). Any tips? How can I restore it?

I would say, stay away from mobilechat

I managed to get it in DFU mode, and found some guide to follow, dunno if its what I should do though.

Do I have to do something else? I can't get it to go from DFU mode after I restored with 1.1.1

Could really need some help

If I restore with the 1.1.2 restore file I get it out of the loop, then I get to emergency call screen. Any ideas how to get it unlocked/jailbroken then?

Hmm, Independence, ibrickr and any other program cannot see the ipod when its in dfu mode it seems, they all say its disconnected.

I think u can restore it with 1.1.1 --> activate & jailbreak --> upgrade to 1.1.2 --> jailbreak.

then u can use Elite Team anySIM to unlock

but I'm not pretty sure of it to be honest.

Well, whenever I try to restore with 1.1.1 I get stuck in the endless connect to itunes loop... I've managed to get it to jailbroken and activated 1.0.2, havent tested calls, although my old anysim seems to be installed cus it accepts my own sim. Could this all occur since I use my own sim in the phone while restoring and stuff?

Anyhow, as soon as I try updating from 1.0.2 to either 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 (have used independence to do the pre update things) I get stuck in the "connect to itunes" loop. Am I doing something wrong? I update by using alt click on update then choosing the restore for either 1.1.1 or 1.1.2.

Would really much like answers

u were running 1.1.2 before right? then u have the 4.02 modem software version right?

are u sure your phone was software unlocked? can u give us the production week of ur iPhone? and what exactly the unlock method u used?

Sound to me like you need to downgrade your baseband. This is now easy to do using the repository from i.unlock.no on installer or download from the site - assuming you can first restore 1.0.2 firmware.
