Can anyone take me through the steps of what i need to activate it to use the iPod Wi-Fi Etc

man there is a search button.

Search for the point and click method
that was so far the best activation for me with no problems

Well first things first ....
Windows or Mac ...?

Take your Phone out of the box
use the wall plug and usb cable and charge your phone for at least 3 hours

this will charge up your battery

Run iBrickr to "jailbreak" the phone. This basically opens up the iPhone so that you can access files to it. Once you have the iPhone unjailed, run the point and click activation with youtube. Worked great for us.
