Default Missed call displays "Call failed"

Is this normal? I'm assuming it isn't. Anytime I miss a call and check the phone, I have a call failed box. If I hit the callback button everything still works properly.

How do I fix the dialog? I have a 1.0.2 unlocked phone that's never been upgraded. Nothing else is amiss on my phone as far as I can tell.

I have had the same thing happen to me. Not everytime though, more like 20%. I was thinking a may have hit a "button" by accident. I was thinking about posting this question myself.

I am on t-mobile with a blackberry data plan.

A bit of misleading wording in the USSD.strings and SprinbgBoard.stings files. There's already a thread on this in the forum. Search "failed call" and you're bound to find it.

either that or try checking the springboard strings in the "customize" (american spelling ) app.
I ended up putting a few capitalisations on mine as I was tired of the incorrect american grammar on my phone

    bump.

I read the thread mentioned above and it seemed like that was not the best solution. Anyone else figure out exactly what is happening. Is it because of summerboard? Does it happen on all unlocked phones?

nope, it happened to me yesterday, this happens when someone calls you from a blocked phone and the guy calling hangs up then your phone displays "call failed" because it has no info to show because its a blocked number

Same thing happened to me and I downloaded the "Customize" App. from installer and you can change the springboard strings with that program.
I changed the Call missed to "Call Missed" and it fixed the call failure problem.
I found that that was the easiest way to fix that.
