I'm using putty when i type minicom -s i get this message:

WARNING: configuration file not found, using defaults.

Any ideas

That's a normal error. It's telling you that you need to create a default configuration. That's what minicom -s will do. Make sure you create /usr/local/etc so it can be saved when you're done. (Choose Save as default when exiting)

Make sure that you uploaded TermCap to your iphone.
