Matching contacts to UK caller ids?

My iphone is now unlocked and working with my UK 02 Sim. Lovely.
One slight problem. All my contacts phone numbers are in international format eg
+4477 etc rather than 077 etc
The problem is when a contact callls me it doesn't match them up which all my other phones will do.
Any ideas (apart from localising all my contact numbers, no good when abroad).

You have to have them entered twice. Once with the international prefix for when you travel abroad, the other localized.

I suffer from the same stupid thing.
If you know a better solution then re-entering all of your phone numbers again (right...), let us all know.

Thanks for replys,
I will try to work out an applescript to duplicate the mobile numbers.
As far as activiating/unlocking goes, at the moment it does require a bit of unix type hackery to do, but somebody will make something to do the lot soon, I'm sure.
I've over 20 years experience, but the one thing that took me a while to work out is that even after you flash the firmware in the phone you need to recactivate with your new sim in the phone using iasign or similar.
Sorry I can't really enter into to much correspondence about this, as I already have a queue of colleagues who want me to do phones for them (no I am not charging them

)

You can avoid doing this if you install the hacked/modified lockdownd.
