Hope the "anysim" mess is also sorted soon, and we old school 1.0.2 unlocked phones can also taste the new new 1.1.1 features
doesn't look promising....yet...
They claim it would only work on Intel-Macs. I could not see why. Is one of the used tools different on Intel/PPC?
Is the AT&T account needed for activation as otherwise the phone would remain unactivated du to inexistent activation method for 1.1.1?

has to be the way that the phone communicates with thecomputer... maybe processes...
is there a way to create the symlink directly through iphuc?
why is it that neccessary to make the restore in such a complicated way?Downgrade to v1.0.2
Hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds. The phone should shut down.
When the phone shuts down, release the Sleep/Wake button but continue holding Home
Wait until iTunes recognizes the iPhone. The screen will appear to be off, but iTunes will eventually recognize the iPhone. When it does, let go.
A message will appear telling you to restore. Click OK
if i want to restore i simply shut down the phone and than power it on while holding both buttons until the yellow triangle appears. i dont see any difference in the result. can anybody explain?

The outlined procedure is limited to Intel Macs because the iPhuc linked to in step 5 (Jailbreak) is compiled for that platform. Simple as that. Obviously, that will change in the near future, but for now:Frankly, the most severe limitation is:Code:% file iphuc iphuc: Mach-O executable i386
Do not follow this guide if: You do not have an AT&T iPhone account
Followed closely by:
Do not follow this guide if: You have attempted to unlock your iPhone (aka: iUnlock, anySIM)
Just read and do not attempt is the moral of the story.
