last week i updated my iphone to 1.1.1
on the next days the iphone was hot like hell especially with wifi on.

on the last days it doesnt even dare to heat.

how was yours after upgrading to 1.1.1?

Mine only gets heat if I play some game for about 30 min. or watch a video on youtube using EDGE...

Mine was hot in 1.0.2 with wifi on, now in 1.1.1 its not happen anymore

Mine is 1.0.2 and sometime it get really hot especially with wifi but no problems i put it in the fridge.

I realized that if I switched my mail message auto-check to manual, the iphone is no longer that hot.

Maybe the auto-pooling for e-mails cause the wi-fi to be always on and thus the phone to be warm.

Worth a try to switch if to manual for a trial.

in sleep mode the wifi turns off even with mail checking turned on, the wifi turns on to check mail them off again mine does not get hot even though it checks mail each hour
