Default Mail Not Working After Jailbreak [Tried The FIx]

I was on 2.0 [5A240d], and decieded to go back to 1.1.4 and jailbreak. When i jailbreak the mail app doesnt work. It says something and about sector 4, yea its weird. I tried the password fix from David, assuming its ipodtouchmaster, and it didnt work. So what others options are there?

Are you sure you did DFU and not recovery mode, and that you started a new phone? If so try reinstalling the default mail app by downloading from somewhere.
