    Default lost /usr folder??

Ok ANY help would be great!?

I have no idea what happened, guessing a trojan?? Long story short I'm trying to boot my iphone but it's stuck at the apple logo with spinning flower loading thing.. after a while I guess it times out and reboots... again, stuck at the logo and spinning thing.

I ran Iphuc and get in and issue an ls. I get this:

    (iPHUC) /: ls
    .
    ..
    AppSnapp.log
    DCIM
    Downloads
    EBooks
    Labyrinth
    Photos
    com.apple.itunes.lock_sync
    disk
    iSteamy
    iTunes_Control
    iTunes_Control_2
    touchFree

Where's my /usr folder?? and the /Users folders??

This is an OTB 1.1.2 phone, which has been jailbroken and working fine until now (except of course it's not unlocked). I'm guessing some app deleted my stuff?

    If I try a 'cd /usr' I get this:
    (iPHUC) /: cd /usr
cd: No such file or directory '/usr'
    (iPHUC) /:

ANY info would be good, OR a copy of someones /usr folder so I can rebuild.

RESTORE didn't work: I am able to enter Restore mode and have itunes do a restore - I select my downloaded 1.1.1 restore (iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw) and after unpackaging the software iTunes returns with an error 0. My guess is it's notices none of the files are there so it bails?

Any ideas? AGRH! Thanks in advance

In your situation, iPHUC logs only in the Media partition.

If you want to see the System partition use this command in iPHUC

    setafc com.apple.afc2
or with the latest version use this to start iPHUC directly in /

    iphuc -qa com.apple.afc2

    Default Ok, any other ideas?

OK, explains why I can't see them, but I've seen posts where people have changed into that folder so not sure why mines is failing.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Assuming things aren't deleted, I HAD SSH on there but I keep it disabled to conserve battery. Is there a way to enable it from iPHUC or something else so I can re-access the files system thru ssh? I'm on a mac btw.

    Default Solved

*phew* I was able to restore it using the 1.1.2 firmware (iPhone1,1_1.1.2_3B48b_Restore)... now to re-jailbreak and I think I'm good to go.

If I can figure out what caused it I'll post.
