Default Lost purchase recipe, now what?

A long ago I missed about 6 months on my GMail Inbox, which sadly included original Apple recipe of my iPhone purchase. Kudos to the beloved GMail Beta

Recently, I went to my carrier, which obviously is not AT&T and it is far from US, and they said they could unlock my 1st gen iPhone, providing I could present a proof of purchase. Guess what, I have no one -- although I did not went after my credit card bill from almost 2y ago...

Anyway, Googling around, the advices given to people which do need to send their phones back to Apple and which also lost their recipes are, to go to any Apple Store, because they have ways to retrieve back the recipe and/or provide any proof of purchase. Too bad I am about 3.000 miles away of any US Apple Store in the next couple months...

All that said, anyone thinks they (Apple) can be kindly enough to send me a copy of that recipe, if I call them and ask for such copy, including providing them my iPhone serial number and answering that my iPhone was "never" ever activated?

    Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Why don't yopu just unlock the phone yourself?
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

I guess you know this phone *is* already unlocked, after almost 2 years it will surely be not on a drawer's desk

But our country laws do not allow a carrier to sell carrier-locked phones -- actually, they can, but if a user wants to unlock its phone, they should unlock it, period. And why should I keep with an un-official unlock, if I can go to the official one? I mean, I am not saying all effort done so far is/was useless or whatever, I am just moving this old phone to a "legal" state, while looking forward to the new one in a couple weeks.

You can back to the internet and ask the help for some question forum. For the answer.yahoo and the ask dot com also can help you. Mostly the friend in that site can solve your question really fast than you want. For more information, please read at this moonarstore.com help. Good luck!
