    Default losing wifi settings

Hi, I'm having this weird problem on my iphone wifi. I keep on losing the settings for the HTTP proxy part of the wifi settings. Is there any way I can stop this from happening. I am running unlockd 1.1.1

    Thanks

    Dave

Do you have this problem on the same wireless network ?

Because, the proxy settings has to be setup for every new wifi connection to a different wifi router.

Check if when you add the proxy settings this file is modified.
(this is where the proxy settings are stored)

    Code:
    private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
By default the permission for this file is set to 0644.

Install the finder (from installer.app) and go to check this file permission.

You can try to rename it (e.g preferencesOLD.plist) and restart your phone, then try to add the proxy one again.

    hi xianli,

I tried doing that and i found the preferences file permissions set to 420. I did the change thingy and the new preferences file had the same permissions number (420). Any other solutions?

Well the way i did it, i followed ur advice and i renamed the preferences file to preferencesOLD.plist. This generated a new preferences.plist file with the same permissions number. I do not know how to change things via ssh, sftp. I've only been using stuff like iBrickr. How can i do this?

    Thanks a lot xianli!
