It says detecting settings detects nuter on fakeblank off unlock on.

After which it refuses to run and hangs.
go to shell and run
bbupdater -e ICE4xxxx
bbupdater -f ICE4xxxx

Reboot
No cell carier.
Run bootnuter it hangs but this time it shows unlock as off.
How can I unlock the phone or get bootnuter to run without hanging ? So I can turn lock from off to on ?

You ran it ?? why ? Do you know what you are doing?What did it say when you ran it ?

Thanks I did spend 8 hours reading all the posts on boot nuter hangs.
And all of the say you have to go back to 1.1.4 and then up.
Ive done that circus one too many times with no positive results.

Once for wifi once for bootnuter.
But looks like I will have to do it again.

My question was is there anyway for me to unlock without loosing all my data and programs ?

i.e. I do not want to jail break. I do not want to install cydia I just want to unlock is there any s/w of manuall method to achive this.
Worst case I just run quickpawn and it will be back to working right ? But I loose everything right ?.

Edit I ran the new quickpawn
It rebooted all my apps are still there.
I ran Bootnuter it didnt hang I clicked on unlock
Boot nuter says Flashing Baseband
Your bootnuter choices allready match current settings.

This normally takes 2 minutes.
Looks like Im thru its been 4 minutes though lol
I think I know why its hanging some s/w is updating two plist files which are virginised when you do a quickpawn.
I will post the names for those two plist files you can find them if you unzip quickpawn and look in the boot nuter zip file.
