There are tons of iPhones available on eBay. Using PayPal to buy one in another country is the safest way to do that. If you have a relative or friend in the US, they could send you the iPhone from the US. Tell them to use a major parcel service like UPS, Fedex or whover delivers to Macedonia because otherwise the package may get lost. Also don't forget about customs in Macedonia.

Be careful with offers for an iPhone where you have to send the money first (for example through Western Union). The chance is pretty good that you'll never see your money again...including the iPhone.

    Good luck.

OK, here's the deal (problem): to shop in US Online Shops, you need a US credit card. Some shops may accept an international AMEX up to a certain amount of money (usually up to 200-300 USD or so) but over this sum, not possible. I managed to order a laptop from Dynamism once, using a credit card but only after I talked to them on the phone and the laptop was shipped two weeks later.
The mail forwarding service of usmail1.com sounds great and it may be useful for smaller items like magazines, books or whatever but if you want to order expensive stuff, no chance.

I tried to order an iPod for 399 USD or so from Apple Store USA once using my Amex and it didn't take my order (I had a US address at a friend's house).
As long as the address from usamail1.com isn't the same connected to your credit card, forget about it.

eBay stays (still) the only real alternative.

Thanks for the info, 997TT - which makes me wonder how easy/difficult it would be to get a credit card to use for this adress as there are also "prepaid" VISA/Mastercards ... (at least here in Germany, not sure about the USA). Too much efforts for me now, as I have nothing more to order, but I'll definitely have to check this out someday ...
