Do any of you know where the mp3/mp4 files are located for the iPod media player.
I want to use iBrickr to manually upload files without the help of iTunes.
By the way, will this in any way create problems when syncing ?

it doesnt work, its that easy, because the ipod doesnt browse by scanning thro a folder, but working with a database instead.
so, even if you add files to the media folders, the iPhone just ignores it.

by the way, its in one of the /root/ directorys, not sure anymore in which one.
private/var/root


you would need to modify the database as well.
