hey,would like some help

Whenever i an listening to music on the iphone and surfing the internet, themusic just stops.

Also simetimes when i am surfing and have like 3 pages open, the safari crashes and returns to the springboard.

I have a 1.0.2 anysim 8 gb iphone. So is it just my iPhone or is that a common issue? Will upgrading to 1.1.1 will fix this?

most phones has this problem, mine sometimes freeze and I have to reset it, other times the speaker just doesn't work for a while...

Just restart your iPhone (with the red slider) and the problem will go away for a while.

1.1.1 has better memory management and a few bug fixes that lower the occurance of crashes.

check this out http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14489 . Mine is a jailbreaked 1.1.1 and I had phone crashing back to springboard randomly using any application. If you have summerboard installed, set "dim wallpaper" OFF under Summerboard menu. Worked for me

Thanks, my phone crashes often too. I'll try this out - hopefully it helps.

That being said, the crash + restarting is still twice as fast as most normal tasks I did with my WING which was working normally, lol.

It's true that it's somewhat prone to crashing. My Tmobile Dash wasn't any better though. I wish we knew more about what specifically causes the problems, but I can definitely say that Summerboard seems to be one of the offending programs to be avoided.

My general rule is to use as few 3rd party programs as I need, as opposed to just loading every single one that sounds interesting.

I had 1.0.2, When I opened more than 3 or 4 websites, Safari crashed.
I have 1.1.1, up to now, safari has not crashed again.
iPod never stops for me, even when I was using 1.0.2.
Are you using headphone, or through the speaker?

1.1.1 SEEMS a bit more stable than 1.0.2
