Jpeg on the iphone problem
Ok, so heres my problem:
I saved a google map for offline purposes as a jpeg, i used screengrab on firefox to do it. Its of amsterdam (5000x5000), and i can zoom from a view of the entire city down to the maximum zoom in preview to see the street names and whatnot. The problem is when i put the photo on my iphone and go to zoom in it just gets blurry and i cant zoom all the way to the street level let alone see anything else clearly...and fixes, please???
thanks

If you do this through iTunes, it makes a smaller version of the picture and puts that on your phone. Obviously that can't be zoomed very far.
Maybe there's a picture viewer in Cydia that can use bigger jpg's. Try iFile. And put the picture on your phone with DiskAid or something, so it isn't modified.

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.
Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
* on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
* on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).
