Default jailbreak hangs on final step

So I followed the guide on downgrading 1.1.2 to 1.1.1, installing oktoprep, and then upgrading back to 1.1.2.

Now, when I run the jailbreak.jar app (with SSH checked), it goes through the first initial steps, but then hangs on "reading flash media". I've tried numerous times with reboots, and the task bar never gets close to completing. I set auto lock to 'never' as suggested somewhere else, too. Can someone please help?

    Thanks...

Is your jailbreak folder (with its original name) located on the desktop ?

Yes, on the desktop with same name...so is the .zip file.

When you say it hangs, how long do you wait to conclude this ?

I've waited as long as a half hour. When the terminal app was open, I could see that the activity had stopped.

The problem seems to be somewhere else.

Do you plug your phone on a USB hub ?
