Jailbreak = Cool Unlocking = Cool Activation = Not so Cool HELP! :)
Ok, So here is the situation.
I have an iPhone that I will be sending a friend who does not have ATT Service. I do have ATT Service and easily go through the steps of jailbreaking and unlocking the phone with the new anySIM I can swap out SIM cards no prob. But after a while either once it figures out that it’s not an ATT SIM or whatever, it goes back to “Activate connect to iTunes”. Do I go though the Activation 1.1.1 tutorial on the Wiki? Is that IMEI Specific, another words, would I need the IMEI of the person I’m selling the phone to in order to run iAsign? I seem to get stuck on this part during Activation. Can anyone give me some helpful pointers and suggestions?
I have Windows XP.
HELP!!!!!!!!
-Thanks

I'm sure it was a lame question. So, iAsign is IMEI specific? (which IMEI changes with the SIM card, correct? or not so correct?)

The IMEI identifies the device not the SIM.

ah, yes, I mean the ICCID, that changes when the SIM in the card changes. Does this sim swapping have any effect on me using iAsign or is it just my error and not doing something correctly?
