on iunlock site i can download .app file (3.4mb).
how do i install it - because they want it on /Applications/ Directory? with ibrickr or ibrickr can install only .pxl files? what are the differences between .app file and .pxl?
this is on of the things i still don't get.

and last one question and i think i have done with the questions and i am ready to unlock my iphone.

here's the answers to some of your questions, as I see it (please correct me if I'm wrong!!) and I'm being nice so no need to paypal me any $$ lol
to unlock your phone,
the first stage is Jailbreaking - you could use ibrickr, but you're better off using iNdependence, that's what I used. I repeat, ibrickr is not necessary for this.
I activated using the youtube point and click activation. Easy stuff.
Ok then use AppTapp installer. Then using the wi-fi install the essentials - BSD subsystem, SSH, and a few others - many threads on this site will tell you more. Otherwise just google it!
then use the wi-fi and fugu (if you use a mac) or winscp (for windoze), enter in your iphone's ip address, the default names are root and password "dottie" - and place the unlock application of your choice into the /applications directory.
then reopen iNdependence and return your phone to jail.
restart your phone and you're done! now just click the unlock GUI and enjoy your freedom.

at least that's the way I did it - I'm unlocked on vodafone UK and enjoying my ridiculously cheap contract! (never used mobile web much anyways)

Ok, i think i can help you out.
1 - First of all, plug your iphone into your pc. Then turn it on. When apple grey logo appears, hold power button and home button down at same time. Keep holding the buttons down. your iphone will reset itself 2-3 times before you get a yellow triangle.
2 - Open itunes, (im using 7.4.1) and it will ask you to restore. Click restore.When it finishes, it will return to the activation screen.
3 - Run ibrickr 0.8, and click Free my iphone. Follow the on screen tips until it gives you the SWEET butom.

-- Ok now you have your iphone restored, and jailbreaked.--

4 - Now get PACAY to activate your phone with youtube. Run (Click here) activate.bat
5 - Close ibrickr and open it again. Click on applications, then instal PXL. (PXL will be the anysim program, or the iulock program).
6 - Restart as many times it ask. I now its a lot, but its ok.
7 - After all those restarts click on Check for PXL, then on Install from PXL.
8 - Browse in your foders to any of those .pxl you downloaded, can be anysim iunlock, iunlock-fast. I recommend iunlock-fast.
9 - Ok, after you chose the pxl file, it will install the app and softrestart your iphone.
10 - Then on your iphone goto settings>general>autolock>never.
11 - Now click on the iunlock icon on your iphone desktop (known as springboard).
12 - Wait 10 to 20minutes, and youre done.
13 - Shut down your iphone holding the top right butom(the start/sleep one).
14 - Change the Sim Card.
15 - And you´re done.
