I really dont know why this is happening. Did this many times.
Now you know how to react when the dialogbox shows up.

I would suggest the following now. I know you dont like it, but.

Quit iLiberty and start iTunes, connect the iPhone. This time iTunes will see the iPhone. Hold Shift and hit "Restore". Select the firmware you downloaded. You will again restore to 1.1.4 and end with a locked iPhone.

Leave iTunes open, park it in the task bar. Start iLiberty then and select in Advanced-> Local payloads the ones menitioned (Installer, International Support for 1.1.4, Relocate Fonts and Ringtones. After selecting the bottom tab "Selected" should read "Selected (3)".
Then in Standard tab activate the options Jailbreak, Activate, YouTube Fix.
Hit Go for it then. When the window pops up, do what you are supposed to. It says Disconnect the iPhone, then reconnect, then hit "OK".

    Should be working then.
I will be off for an hour, back then for another to help you. its already 11 pm here.

    ttys,

Yes, you can sync! but there is something left as you know, we do have to unlock your iPhone with Bootneuter. You have to setup Wi-Fi connection on your iPhone.
You can do the sync once the iPhone is unlocked. Do you want to go on now?
Shall i send instructions on the next steps?

This would be the last steps. You may sync before or after that. Don't rush ehen doing the steps, take your time!

Your iPhone has to have Wi-fi access to the internet for the next steps. The laptop is not needed for that.

When done, run the installer icon and Install:

    - BSD Subsystem
    - Community Sources

When done, quit installer. Go back to installer and add source ( at Sources)
    http://installer.iclarified.com

    - Go to iclarified section and install "BootNeuter". when done, get out of installer.

Before starting BootNeuter DONT forget to set Auto-Lock to never. it is in "Settings->General". Plus while BootNeuter running, never interrupt! Keep iPhone and PC connected to make sure power is supplied. thats the only part where you can screw up.

    - autolock to never and then start bootneuter. Select neuter=on, FB=off, unlock=ON (blue indicates active). Leave Booloader as it is. Hit flash and wait ... Don't touch anything. Let it run, when it finishes, your phone should be ready to use.

    - Now go back to installer, iclarified section and install App Support Patch 1.1.4, Region Patch 1.1.4 and Volume Boost 1.1.4 from section iClarified.

    - once unlocked i would recommend to uninstall BootNeuter. If not and hit by accident it may damage your iPhone. To uninstall start Installer on the iPhone, goto "Uninstall" and select Bootneuter to uninstall

If yoou wanna make sure to have the correct settings in bootNeuter before hitting "Flash" it should look like the one in the screenshot here

post #2, 4th screenshot from the top of post 2. If it looks like that hit the button flash and relax. this will take some minutes, never touch.
