Default [iTunes] is not syncing - Could not enable SSL

    Hi,

i've been using iPhone for quit sometime where previously there is no problem at all with my sync of Address Book, Calendar, and Bookmarks.

All of the sudden, it won't sync anymore except for sync-ing Ringtone, Videos and Music only. The sync process when on with no errors, but the contacts, calendar or bookmarks are not transferred/changed.

I have search around apple discussion forum, so I've tried to reset the sync history, also the delete 'iSync' and 'Sync Services' method, also the export, delete all and import method, but none cure my problem.

I checked the console log, and it shows:

    ============

Makes me wonder...what happen? I didn't install anything lately...

it crosses my mind to re-install my iMac or restore my iPhone, but it is just to many thing in my Mac already which will take me a long time to reinstall it again, same thing with my iPhone where there are additional contacts, calendar and tons of bookmarks already. So unless it can be confirmed that it will cure the problem....

When I check'ed via SSH, seems that the Contacts, Bookmarks and Calendar not being touched at all by the sync process...

Could this 'Could not enable SSL' is the key to update the 'non' Ringtones, Video and Musics?

Where can I enable the SSL?..and which SSL? the Mac or the Phone?

at first i thought maybe the appleMobileDeviceHelper is corrupted or something but I have also tried to re-install the iTunes (7.5)..

    but still... not working..

    Appreciate any advice...

Try to reinstall iTunes and repair the permissions with disk utility.

thanks for the reply, i did that before but still has the same problem.

finally, i restore my phone... and now the sync is working perfectly. i guess something screwd up the sync data or identifier or flag or whatsoever in the phone.

    cheers,

I have OTB 1.1.2 jailbroken with stealthSIM.

Sync seems to work find, though. What did NOT get sync'd in your case?
