im kinda curious on this as well. i've made several ringtones and used ibricker to upload them all then when i go to sounds/ringtones nothings there.

i've used sendsong as well and in sounds/ringtones everythings there, but when i try to go through my contacts and set ringtones for specific people it sets it, but when they call it rings the default ringer?

How long your ringtones are? They need to be up to 30 seconds, no more (or something like that)

Hi to all. When I did it via the tutorial where the ringtones showed up in Itunes on the ringtone folder, and then synced it, they showed up only under the contacts as customized ringtones. I could not hear them when I selected them.

Since I am a windows user, I downloaded IDemocracy 2.02 and am using that to install my ringtones via Open SSH and they show up with all my other ringtones and work flawlessly.

I will only use this method going forward, unless I am lucky enough to get a Mac in the future.

Hi, there appears to be 2 different ringtone folders on the iphone?
    1st root/library/ringtons
    2nd root/var/root/library/ringtones

The first one is where the standard ringtones are stored, and also the best place to SSH into (must be m4r)
The second is where itunes places them, but this hasn't worked for me.
There is yet another, but this is where sendsong places.

    Dear X-man,

That is up to you, but when it comes to loading ringtones, I personally have learned to rely on IDemocracy only if I want them to work.
