hi, after getting some problems with my phone yesterday, i was going to restore etc etc my phone today.

But, i seem to be having a problem. Itunes won't find my phone, and other programs too.

my iphone seems to feel that it gets connected, cause when its turned off and i put it in a NON CONNECTED wire, it feels it and starts.

but when i put it in a wire that's connected, its just getting the connect to itunes screen.

Anyone got any tips? Im quite desperate

have you tried reinstalling itunes?

nope, maybe i should try to do so. But it feels weird cause it dosen't seem as if i brickr etc wont find it either.

A few tips , , turn it off then plug it in while holding the home button till you get the cd and cable screen switch USB cords, reset all settings on the phone, unplug all your USB cords except the one for phone, turn your computuer on then off, or you could wait for a bit then try again

I'm having the exact same problem, iTunes won't recognise my iPhone at all. I've tried the above but nothing will work

Does your iphone charge fine through the wall adapter?

Not sure as I lent the wall charger to a mate last weekend, I'll find out this weekend when I get it back (iPhone now flat )

I've now tried to reinstall Itunes. didn't help.
I tried to switch USB on the computer, didn't help.
I'm not able to test charging it through a wall adapter cause i'm in europe, and there the adapters doesn't look like in the US.

It it really weird, itunes won't find it, neither ibrickr. Although, the iphone do feel that something is plugged in, but it is behaving weird. When plugging in a wire which isn't plugged in to the computer, the phone just starts.

When plugging in a wire that is connected to the computer, the phone displays the "connect to itunes" screen.

+ im having problems with my home key not working

Try putting the iPhone into DFU mode and plug into the computer. It should wor as DFU mode doesn't load the operating system. So put in DFU mode then try plugging in and restoring. Don't know how to get into DFU mode? Click here

Just restore iPhone!
