Im useing Windows Xp.

Itunes can find my old iphone, and i can sync everything fine.

Today i got a new iphone, i activated, jailbroke and unlocked it no problem.

But then i connect it to itunes, it shows up under "devices" but i cant sync or do anything with it.

Anyone knows why?

Recommend connecting it to another computer .. see if it syncs, if it does then connect it back if it doesnt then restore it and take it back

This is great. I pay many bucks for an iphone that drops 200 dollars a few days after its shipped. Not only that i have to pay extra custom tax. Hurray!

Well today i finally got it and its fucking broke. WHY GOD WHYYYY!!!!!

and i live overseas so i cant just return the damn thing

It works .. puch comes to shove restore it.
I had this problem when i tried to unlock my phone, it was even hard as hell to restore it .. kept on restarting and when i get the yellow trianglei connect it and itunes recognizes it for a second then doesnt and the phone restarts!!!
I connected it to my wifes laptop and it was recognized and asked if i wanted to sync i said no and connected it back to my laptop and it was recognized. I restored and started over.
