iTunes calendar sync error using iTunes Mac
Anyone find a fix for the extremely annoying iTunes error: "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone <iPhone name> because an error occurred while mingling data"?
This error first begain appearing after the firmware 1.02 and iTunes 7.4 upgrades.
Apple support is clueless, despite the fact that there are many threads on the topic. Yes, I have reset sync history and I have changed my Mac Office calendar sync settings to merge data, etc., but can't seem to resolve this problem.
Any ideas?

I get the same issue on Windows and I am using firmware 1.02 and iTunes 7.3.0.5. I was only able do the initial and no matter what I try to sync (contacts, email, calendar, internet bookmarks) it always gives me the same "mingling data" error message. Nothing I've found has helped.

Puffsta, if your iCal is more up to date than your iPhone's calendar or if you don't mind losing everything that you've already entered into your Calendar app, have iTune completely overwrite the iPhone database (you'll find the option in the iTune's/iPhone info tab all the way at the bottom or in the settings). It appears that this works, though I haven't tried. Option 2. Recovered your iPhone's Calendar, use sqlite to dump the info and re-import it into your iCal database (different format) using tools you'll find on the web. It's a very long and tedious process, but it's the only workaround that I'm aware of until you are willing to overwrite your iPhone's Calendar -- which I'm not. Option 3. Wait for FM 1.1.1. which apparently corrects this problem....but creates others -- or so it seems.
