I did. I have an unlocked 1.1.1 version and did a restore under itunes 7.5. i was still able to use my phone afterwards. Used the same hacking procedures and it worked

I did a restore as well but was not able to activate the phone afterwards using jailbreakme.com. Only after a downgrade to 7.4.2 did the activation work.
