I've been lurking this board for a few weeks now, I myself have bought an Iphone on Ebay. (I live in Holland)

Is the AT&T-simcard empty when it's not yet activated via iTunes? Does the iPhone write information onto the card when it's activating via iTunes/AT&T?

Because if it is, isn't it possible let the iPhone read out an existing simcard from another carrier/country, and later on write that information on the AT&T sim? (toghether with some hack/code to make it work?)

I'm just throwing something out there, keep up the good work though!
