Another email has jsut been received by IPSF
They are dealing with me quite quickly now and had this to say
Hello Sasha,
We are truly doing our best but when we saw
the volume of email, we had to change a lot of things in our organization, this
is why there was this delay.

In some communication with IPSF they have used Tonight & Finalised as well as a few other words.
"Tonite" isn't correct spelling anywhere (except TV programs aimed at 12 year olds) but you make a good point about not using American English.
Canada uses British English spellings just like Australia - "colour", "rumour", etc.
(Another giveaway is punctuation - do they put their commas outside quote marks like I just did?)
If the actually paid a visit in person to both CNN and Engadget, chances are they are on the North American continent.

I would be equally sceptical had I not heard an interview by Leo La Porte (on his TechGuy Podcast) of both of these guys. Each one said that IPSF had unlocked their personal iPhone remotely, no smoke and mirrors. Both these guys have significant industry standing and would not be lying in such a public forum. I can only conclude that the unlock works and as such I have paid up to Trash. There is of course a chance that although the unlock is real the commercial arrangement is a big scam and aimed at extracting the maximum amount of money in the shortest time, not ship anything, but also not fall foul of AT&T lawers. However, what the heck, for 60 Aussie dollars it's worth a punt. I've already paid 850USD for a phone that now retails for 399 !

Yes, that's right Canada uses the British spelling...
which somehow reminds me, I need new tyres for my car..
One of the exceptions since that's where we use the American spelling. And also one that I purposely spell "wrong" just to annoy people. Another one is using d/m/y format for dates in my log at work. Annoys people.
Off topic I know..
