probably you'll get the software, must send your IMEI to them and get an unlock code only valid for your phone. let's wait and see ...

Did they work totally separately from the dev team on here? The optimal choice was a free unlock, but I guess I'll need to shell out money. Good, but kinda bad.

They are only referring to the current updates

    read more closely

you are being naive if you think that Apple will allow this unlock to persist

The irony is, in order for them to test there way to patch it. They would have to buy the software used to unlock their phones.

I think he meant "re-activate" instead of "reunlock"

btw: geohot is the real hacker: he offered his solution for free - though it's a bit tricky. these guys only want to make a lot of money out of it

My instinct tells me that iphonesimfree.com is probebly the dev team attempting to make some cash of the hard work

You know who I feel sorry for the people that manufacture the Turbosim cards.. they have probably gone into overdriver producing 1000's off those and now everyone is going to cancel the orders so they are left with heaps of stock and no one to buy

Maybe you should read things properly. It's restore-resistant. Nothing is said about upgrade resistant.
