Default iphonesimfee tested and 100% success from Trash

I received iphonesimfree software from trash.

    1. I unwrapped my brandnew iPhone.
    2. Did full restore and update.
    3. Jailbreaked
    4. Activated using "Point and click YouTube Activation"
    5. Installed SSH
    6. Setup WiFi connection
    7. Uploaded SimFree.app to applications folder in iPhone using winSCP
    8. Restarted iPhone
    9. Run SimFree APP from springboard

Within 5 minutes my Brand New iPhone was fully unlocked and working on Optus and Vodafone in Sydney Australia.

    I did a full restore.

I had to reactivate the iPhone using steps 3-4 and Iphone was fully unlocked again.

    All hail Trash and iPhoneSimFree...

I will now attempt the iPhoneSimFree unlock with no sim card in the iPhone at all and post results shortly.

    Hey Mate,

Can I ask, when you unlock the phone does it do it for one SIM card, or can you use any SIM card in there?

"7. Uploaded SimFree.app to applications folder in iPhone using winSCP"

I'm running Mac here so I figure I can upload the same way but use Fugu instead.
(I used the same directions for YouTube activation that said to use winSCP but I used Fugu instead and it worked like a charm)

But my question to you is what folder did you upload the .app into using winSCP? And did you just transfer the folder into that file and after that it showed up on the springboard?

    Thanks!

Put SimFree.app folder into root/Application in the iPhone. Restart the iphone and it will show up on the springboard.

    Thanks.

On the egadget video after they ran the app and it said unlock complete. They said they had to activate the sim on the program they were running. did you have to do that as well?
