    Depends where you buy it, I bought two from carphone warehouse and they were week 43 builds with 1.1.3. So it depends if its new stock you get. If it is new stock they will definatly be 1.1.4. 2.0 is just a beta and wont be out until june.

    Question

    Bought it directly form Apple's online store, which they ship from China (nothing is made in the US anymore?) so I gather that it will be 1.1.4, will use Iliberty+ to j-a-u, downgrade bootloader to 3.9Fake, No Cydia, will use BSDsubsystem, Installer and openSSH. Don't know if need to downgrade baseband?

    Does this seams OK, I'm a new user so (and 50 years old) I'm doing the right thing?

    you could do it with pwnage-tool aswell. without downgrading the bootloader.
    My FW way:
    1.1.1 JB/unlocked ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked ->1.1.1 locked ->1.0.2 JB/unlocked ->1.1.1 JB/unlocked. ->1.1.2 JB/locked ->fxxcked up not booting ->
    1.1.1 JB/unlocked ->1.1.2 JB/unlocked ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked ->fxxcked up, spinning wheel of death ->restored 1.1.3 ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked -> 1.1.4 JB/unlocked ... Now 3.1.3

    2.0 is not out yet, relax.... If you use iLiberty+ to unlock it, you don't need to downgrade the baseband, since by downgrading your bootloader you take care of the baseband... And speaking of age, my father-in-law is almost 60 and guess what his cell phone is... (I had to do the unlock though

    Sounds like you have it all sorted out right. If you had access to a mac that would be your best bet. But if not iLiberty+ works like a treat. Good luck

    All you guys , thank you very much on the input. I will use iLiberty+ as still do not understand very well pwnage-tool, but I'll check it.

    I'm sure that with your help I'll have my Iphone in working order and unlock by Monday night.

    Thanks again.
