Yes, but not forever.
Best chance: if you use this before Apple shuts it down (and they will), then backup your "activation" via SAM and the correct SHSH, is that you can restore unlocked for 3 years from that date.
Once Apple finds and shuts down this corrupt individual, best case - your phone will revert to locked the next time you restore. Worst case, Apple may blacklist your phone from activating with iTunes. Either way if you save the correct activation token with SAM - you can re-use it on future activations (with same iOS version and SAM) for 3 years (certificate in activation token expires in 3 years).
Doubtful that Apple includes any certificate revocation capabilities in iOS. That would be the only way Apple could reduce the "3 year window"

Once Apple finds and shuts down this corrupt individua
it's not one individual lol, there's separate people doing this for over 1 year, any also unblocking iPhone handsets with barred IMEI without going abroad, not just iPhones, BlackBerry, and other phones ie SL3 nokia that can't easily be unlocked via convential soft-unlock methods
now loads of places offering this, even few months back reputable companies ie JICTech added iPhone factory unlock to server with bulk discount, and some others
i can't understand why this cutyoursim featured on BGR and gizmodo? ? really??
